Description Inachu 2013-06-27 12:42:16 UTC
Samba will choke when the following criteria is met.

In the middle of file transfer someone accidently falls and yanks out varous cat5 connections that are actively using samba services.

From that point any new connection to use SAMBA file services will be denied while other connection from various other connections will function just fine.

There needs to be TTL(time to live) function to close broken connections.

there are parameters like deadtime and reset on zero vc. There is no bug or missing feature to see.
