Description Michael Kreinick 2003-12-26 11:44:13 UTC
When my file sharing program (direct connect) scans my share directories to
build its file list, smbd sometimes crashes in the middle. I'm running Gentoo.
I've got smb.client.log at level 10 from a crash, as well as a Valgrind log
(which doesn't show anything interesting that I see, but...)
It's probably related to some files I have with strange characters in the file name.

I compiled --enable-developer and with debug.
Here's emerge info:

I think this is fixed in 3.0.2a with the character
string conversion fixes. We shouldn't crash anymore at least.

sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
