Can view/modify file permissions no problem.  The security tab on the Win2k 
client file view does not have any check marks displayed.  Trying to set 
permissions causes the setting to disappear when apply button is clicked.  
samba-3.0.1-2, krb5-1.3.1, redhat 9, 2.4.23 with ext3 ea/acls patches applied 
from acl.bestbits.ac.

please provide a level 10 debug log.  I 
cannot reproduce this locally.
