and does not have a database configuration via config file or cmd line parameters.

fixed by [devel 14e25e4]

smbtamonitor will then print out:
holger@linux-lm9n:~/Dev/smbtatools/run> ./smbtamonitor -h localhost -i 3491 --share hans
ERROR: please specifiy all database connection
       options, or shut down identification
       ( -I 0 ).
