WHATSNEW patch

The extra information in this patch needs to be communicated to our users regarding our changed Kerberos behaviour in 3.5.9.

Our users have already noticed:

Perhaps at least the website copy should be updated?

The website copy has been updated accordingly, thanks Andrew.
I am not sure if we should modify the release notes in the git tree also and send an updated version to the mailing lists. What do you think?

I certainly think the GIT tree should be updated (so it ends up in the next release), and perhaps a new WHATSNEW on the mailing list.

To be clear, we should not re-release the tarball unless we give it a new version number.

Our first user noticed pretty quickly, so I think a reasonably broad heads-up is warranted.

Done.

Closing out bug report.
Thanks!
