Description Pavel V Samsonov 2011-03-03 02:34:47 UTC
Good day!
I have Samba server as domain 2000 member.

smb.conf:
...
        security = domain
	lanman auth = yes
	ntlm auth = no
	client NTLMv2 auth = yes
	client lanman auth = yes
	client plaintext auth = no
        max protocol = SMB2
...

Windows 7 security policie: +LM  +NTLMv2 -128encrypt.
When I logon on Samba server \\samba_server - permission denied
When logon \\samba_server_ip - its OK.
With security = ADS and same smb.conf its all OK, but Slackware Linux in default haven't Kerberos support and ADS security in Samba.

Help me please, today this very important as Windows7 is a main standard client OS in our company.
