Description Bastien Nocera 2003-10-30 08:35:16 UTC
It would be nice to have in the auth_fn callback the way the password is going
to be sent as, ie. either encrypted or plain text.

This can also be done by setting the appropriate smb.conf option in ~/.smb.conf.

apparently there is a workaround

That doesn't actually tell me whether the password will be sent as encrypted or not, it will force one type or the other of passwords.
