A couple more feature requests for sambatorture, if you think they might be good idea:

- Add some whitespace between each test and subtest, for readability. Maybe even a heading , like

"

========================================
Testsuite 1, subtest 3, torture XYZ
=======================================

"

In front of each and every test. With whitespace before and after...

Next suggestion:

Create a webpage or wiki devoted just to the results and error messages of sambatorture test. What does this stuff really mean?

Put a link to that section of the wiki, in the results of the test. So, you could output.

"To find out more about the results of this particular subtest, consult "http://sambatorturewiki?section=6&test=8" or something.

Even better, would be to have extremely verbose and readable output being generated by sambatorture. To the extent that verbiage outweighs code. But a webpage might be easier to maintain.

Or... just put a mention of the wiki into the man page, and leave it at that. I don't know.

At the moment we are discussing if and then which enhancements of the testing framework make sense: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6467. Please provide also your thoughts!

Okay, we agreed that this isn't a key feature which will be implemented soon, but rather an enhancement of which we don't care much.
If you would like to start writing patches to solve on or more issues, then please provide them here and we'll try to accept them.
Otherwise we'll close this with "WONTFIX".

Closing it with "WONTFIX" (at least for now).
