Description akong 2009-04-29 20:14:35 UTC
Hello,
I have test ACL function by user.
It's seem like all right.
But still can't show settings on Windows folder.
But function is all ok.
And I found other bug.
I can set reject user but can't reject group.
I have settings follow:
smb.conf:
-------------------------------------------------
nt acl support = yes
inherit acls = yes
inherit owner = yes
inherit permissions = yes
acl group control = yes
-------------------------------------------------
And I have settings block primary group.
But block group still can use folder and file.
How to fix it?

You need to give much more information please. The exact Samba version, the exact ACL settings you are attempting to set, and the before and after ACLs on your filesystem.
Thanks,
Jeremy.

OK...
My samba server is 3.3.2
I set ACL use by windows explorer
In share folder click mouse right key.
I click security and add account or group to set premission.
If I set account all reject permission and apply.
This account can't brower this folder or file.
But I set group all reject permission and apply.
This group users always can brower this share folder.
I have make sure this group is primary group for users.
Do you know my means?

this looks more like some configuration issue. The wiki or mailing list might help with some configuration hints. Sorry, we can't see more here.
