Description Brian May 2008-12-21 23:32:46 UTC
Hello,

I am getting regular segfaults with Samba. They seem to be associated with a windows Vista client.

This happened in Etch (version 3.0.24-6etch10) and Lenny (version 3.2.5-1).

I field a bug report in Debian, but not getting a lot of help :-(

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=476334

First: How do I use the samba-dbg package to get more information in the stack trace?

Thanks

Brian May

G'Day Brian,

As you know this was closed on the Debian side of things and I think it is best closed here, there isn't anything more we can do with this little info.

Sorry!

Wow. This bug is over 10 years old.

The Debian bug is linked to https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4444, might want to close that also... ?
