when i try to open a folder (ext3 folder on my ubuntu hardy x64) on my desktop pc, from other pcs, i can t open it and i receive:

 - firt it asks me for my user and password like i m opening a windows folder...

then i tipe my samba user and psw and i receive this message all the time:

 Unable to mount location
 Filed to mount window share

but not since when i had installed the samba sharing i kept this message....
I don t know what has happened or what i ve changed....

Please help, i nedd it for several things...

This sounds like an ubuntu problem wuth Gnome. Can you get a network capture trace of what is going on between your desktop client and server please ?

solved copying a new smb.conf on that pc ... i ve installed a virtual machine and token the file from there!
