samba: 4.0.0alpha4-GIT-66d7f35
ADS: 1.1.0 (and 1.0), default install configuration - no changes

Connecting and browsing the directory structure is fine, but all attributes are missing. No errors are apparently thrown by ADS.

Browsing a real AD server shows all as expected.

I close this as duplicate of bug 4891 (Better compatibility with other LDAP tools), because "Apache Directory Server" is such a program. Please provide there the informations! I think, the issues are always the same ones.

I would rather keep these as separate bugs - each tends to have different quirks it needs for a 'fix'.

What I need is the details of what it requests, and how this differs from Microsoft's responses.

The browse of the directory including entries is now fully possible with ADS (tested with version 1.3). However, the creation of objects doesn't seem such easy because there don't exist the compatible templates for an AD-like directory.
