Description Magnus Mertens 2007-12-21 05:06:34 UTC
Trying to join Samba 3.2-test or 3.0.28 to a Windows 2008 Standard Domain Controller (Release Candidate 1) leads to failure NT_STATUS_INVALID_ACCOUNT_NAME ("Failed to join domain: Improperly formed account name".)

kinit received a valid kerberos ticket before. Running the same samba-setup with a Windows 2003 DC works.

seems to be fixed with the current 3.2-test checkout. tested with success with the same configuration today, thanks :-)
