I've seen some code for a WINS server in the branch. But is this server completed or it lacks in some functionality? By default, it seems to me that it isn't activated. How I've to launch it?

wins support = yes.

See the selftest scripts, or samba4wins on how to configure it for multiple masters.  Feel free to contribute docs to the wiki, if it's not clear :-)
