I have compiled samba-3.0.25a on Solaris-10 with SUN Studio 11 compiler suite. Everything works except if I try to set a password with more than 8 characters with the smbpasswd command, then only the first 8 characters is used for the password. The remaining seems to be stripped of.

I have verified that this problem doesn't exists in samba-3.0.24.
