Description Jason Haar 2006-10-17 20:18:18 UTC
I just spent half and hour wondering why I couldn't log into a share via smbclient from one xterm session, when it worked fine from another.

On one I did "smbclient //server/share/" - and triggered NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME

the other I did "smbclient //server/share" and it worked

Could you possibly think to remove slashes from the end of sharenames so fools like me can carry on with their bad habits? :-) [I don't think it should have any negative side effects?]

Thanks!

Jason

this was fixed in the meantime, works with 4.13.
