Description Craig Jackson 2006-10-03 10:49:25 UTC
I have seen others reporting the same. Pam_smbpass does not update LDAP NT/LM passwords when using ldapsam backend when changing a password using the Unix passwd command. This is not really a bug but it is a request for a feature in a category that is available throughout the rest of Samba, namely LDAP integration.

I have tried compiling samba 3.0.23c with ldap and with pam_smbpass.

Thanks.
Craig

Jerry, this isn't libsmbclient and isn't a blocker. I changed the severity and classified it as File Services, but I don't know to whom it should be assigned. You're as good a choice as anyone. :-)
