Description Fernando Boettner 2006-08-02 08:54:42 UTC
Occasionally, the service smbd consumes 99% of the CPU.
I must kill it (with parameter -9), although problem returns to repeat itself. The operating system is Ubuntu 5,10, and the clients are Windows Xp.
Mainly is used to share printers. Could you help me?

Thanks in advance,
Fernando

I am pretty sure that this one is fixed in current Samba versions.
Closing out bug report.
Please reopen if it's still an issue.

Thanks!
