Description Jason Somers 2006-05-10 10:19:22 UTC
When users connect to Linux box via samba, all goes well until they need to access a filename that has (mistakenly) a trailing space after the filename. While easily accessible from the linux box itself, when browsing via Windows, I get "Cannot read from the source file/folder"

Trailing spaces in filenames are invalid Windows names. We now mangle these in later versions of Samba. Please upgrade to 3.0.22 where this is already fixed.
Jeremy.
