Description Aaron Tseng 2006-04-19 04:00:31 UTC
Run smbd (version 3.0.20) on target board
Copy a file, size 600MB from PC Windows 2000 to the target board
and the connection is broken before the whole file transfer
is done, eg: 300MB, but examine the target board found that
the file size is 600MB.
Check with samba v3.0.14 found that there is not this sympton.
Comment 1 Gerald (Jerry) Carter (dead mail address) 2006-04-20 07:37:57 UTC
I'm pretty sure this is expected behavior as the client
is pre-allocating space.
Comment 2 Aaron Tseng 2006-04-26 20:53:56 UTC
It could be, but how to explain that samba 3.0.14 does not cause this sympton ?
Comment 3 Aaron Tseng 2006-05-09 01:17:33 UTC
yes, agree.
