Description Marco A. Costa (dead mail address) 2006-04-12 06:51:53 UTC
When i used the findsmb script to list the machines on a network, the windows XP Pro machines doesn't were listed. I edited the script to see how it works, and I
tested the nmblookup command with the '*' option on the shell and the XP machines
don't apearred. If I starts the messenger service on XP Pro machines and run nmblookup '*' again the machines will appear. I think so the nmblookup command use
the <03> type to list the machines, however i believe nmblookup should use the <00> type to list.

P.S. sorry for my english

looks like 0x00 is being used. But these days Netbios is so dead that the findsmb script will not see any more changes anyway I think.
