Description Joanna Chan 2006-03-10 12:00:34 UTC
During printing, if the job is paused using the Printer Windows screen, and then resumed, the job will be printed from the beginning including the pages that are already printed. This is a different behaviour than in Windows

This would actually be a feature of your printing systems
and is outside the scope of Samba. There's nothing we can
do here.
Comment 2 Gerald (Jerry) Carter (dead mail address) 2006-03-10 12:29:43 UTC
I should clarify, if you pause and restart a job using
the cups command line tools you will see the same behavior.
So this would be an issue for the cups developers and not
Samba.

Joanna could you please open a defect at http://cups.org/str.php if you're using CUPS and add the bug ID here too to allow us to follow the discussion?
Comment 4 Joanna Chan 2006-03-13 07:54:58 UTC
CUPS bug is submitted (STR #1482).
