Seems significantly slower than 3.0.20 vanilla as released with Suse 10
Takes 5-10 secs to see shares
However it does fix the User manager for domains problem

please provide raw ethereal or tcpdump network traces 
that illustrate the performance issue.

I have now received the offical update via SUSE YOU (3.0.20b-3.1-SUSE), and it seems to be OK now
