Description Ahmon Dancy 2005-10-25 19:30:40 UTC
Test scenario:

Map network drive F: to \\testhost\homedir

On the client side, start a cygwin shell and do:
mkdir xxx
rmdir xxx

The rmdir command will fail with a "directory not empty" error. Subsequent
attempts to not work either. I suppose this may be a bug in cygwin but this
behavior does not occur when using samba-3.0.14a.

Notes:
Client is Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
