Description Stephen Jones 2005-09-12 14:49:11 UTC
I have no kerberos based setup and the kerberos enabled smbspool refuses to work.
I get the following error:

ERROR: No ticket cache found for userid=0
ERROR: Can not get the ticket cache for root
ERROR: Tree connect failed
ERROR: Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds...

samba 3.0.11 worked fine.

It would seem sensible to have an option to disable kerberos altogether for
those who don't need it.

I should also point out smbclient is perfectly ok connecting to the printer share.
Comment 2 Gerald (Jerry) Carter (dead mail address) 2005-09-27 12:01:57 UTC
It's not kerberos, but rather than the semantics regressed for
connecting using a guest account. Please try this patch.
