Debian Sarge version of Samba. When trying to connect to the server (either \\server\ or \\server\share\), Windows Vista will pop up the dialog box asking for credentials after a short wait, and the following will be logged in the Samba log. Already fixed (by Andrew Bartlett) in the SVN tree. This will be fixed in 3.0.20rc2. Jeremy.
sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
