For example, in samba-docs-build-773/, the acl compatibility parameter is described thusly: ----- /samba:parameter><samba:parameter> <description> .PP This parameter specifies what OS ACL semantics should be compatible with\&. Possible values are \fBwinnt\fR for Windows NT 4,\fBwin2k\fR for Windows 2000 and above and \fBauto\fR\&. If you specify \fBauto\fR, the value for this parameter will be based upon the version of the client\&. There should be no reason to change this parameter from the default\&. </description> <value>Auto</value> <value>win2k</value> </samba:parameter><samba:parameter> -- Note that there is no "acl compatibility (S)" between the <samba:parameter> and </samba:parameter> tags or in the Default or Example lines. This makes it surprising hard to read the man pages (;-)) It's arguably a blocker for 3.0.20. I suspect something's been taken out previous to samba-docs-build-686 and continuing to at least today. --dave
Dave, I can not reproduce this problem. Please re-open this bug if it is still amiss for you. Thanks. - John T.
