In the "wins hook" parameter's description:
  An example script that calls the BIND dynamic DNS update
  program nsupdate is provided in the examples
  directory of the Samba source code. 

But there are no sample programs. Why?

The script was there in samba 2.0. I've added it to 3.0 CVS as well.

originally reported against 3.0.0beta3.  CLeaning out 
non-production release versions.

sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
