Description Eugenia Loli-Queru 2005-03-23 18:48:57 UTC
I upgraded to the new samba of my distro, 3.0.12, and it's buggy (I don't
believe the previous version had this bug). As you can see from the screenshot
gnome-vfs-samba does not see all files and folders that exist on the specific
directory on Windows ( http://bugs.archlinux.org/index.php?getfile=226 ). It
usually can see between 34 and 36 files per folder!
There is no password set for this WindowsXP PRO SP2 share, neither any special
file attributes are in place.

smbclient has the same bug too (so it's not a gnome-vfs bug).
"mount -t smbfs" does NOT have the bug. That one works fine.

This is a known bug we're fixing for 3.0.13. Sorry for the problem.
Jeremy.

sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
