When trying to mount a Windows 2003 Server share (mount -t smbfs ...) it isn't 
available in Linux. If you try to access the mount point you get the message 
that the directory doesn't exist. 

If you try the same thing with Samba 3.0.2 it works perfectly. We also tried 
the mount with Samba 3.0.10, but it still didn't work.

sorry.  we don't maintain smbfs.  You will need to either talk to the 
smbfs kernel module maintainer.

Or possibly test the cifs fs module (which is under active develment).
