Description Dominique Laigle 2005-02-22 10:07:36 UTC
Hi there,

At least both directives "ldap suffix" and "ldap admin dn" are not retrieved by
SWAT in the "Globals" page, neither in basic mode nor in advanced mode. Since
ldap settings are shown at the foot of the page, admins may remove those entries
without notice when editing "smb.conf" with SWAT.
->"testparm -v |grep ldap" shows correctly the entries and Samba as PDC works
fine with the LDAP...
->Samba Version 3.0.11. Built on Solaris 10 GA (Sparc). Installed into
/opt/built. Config file at /opt/built/lib/smb.conf.

Regards

/Dom
