i use -z command the backup works but it does not compress

Rsync –abuz home/terrijst/terrijst/”Company Shared 
Folders”/   /media/sda1/backup/companie

I think you probably mean that the destination files weren't compressed, which
is not what this option does.  I just checked the man page, and it is not clear
at all what data the -z option is affecting (which is just the over-the-wire
data), so I'll fix that.

If I'm wrong about what you meant to report, feel free to reopen the bug.
