Description Barry Salter 2004-12-16 02:21:05 UTC
This has already been posted on the Gentoo Bugzilla, but they closed it off as
invalid.

Anywho, in at least versions 3.0.7 and 3.0.9 of Samba, rpctorture fails to build
under Gentoo (and possibly other systems). I'll include the relevant part of the
Gentoo build log as an attachment shortly.

Relevant extracts from Gentoo's "emerge info" output:

Extract from Gentoo's build log showing where rpctorture fails to build.

rpctorture is not supported in any way. If you need similar functionality look
at samba4 smbtorture.
