In the opening paragraph of the Samba 3.0beta2 README file:
"...printers and other informatiuon..."

Also, perhaps this paragraph needs revising as it seems a little outdated. 
Particularly it claims that "Windows" needs additional software to support SMB -
 this was sort of true in the 3.x days but isn't really now.

originally reported against 3.0.0beta2.  CLeaning out 
non-production release versions.

sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
