I use Samba 3.0.4 -> 3.0.7 and i've got a same problem with the list of file
shared under windows (2000, XP, 2003)

Under linux : i've got a directory with about 2700 files (.doc, .xls)
Under windows : only about 400 (W2K3) -> 600(XP/2000) files are listed.

Then when i delete the last file order by date : all files appears

The file is not corupted.

It does not seems to be the file name because under 2K and xp it list less files
than W2K3

The problem does not apear under samba 2.x
We have find this problem since our samba 3 upgrade


Is it a bug ????

please retest this against 3.0.11 and reopen th bug report if the issue still
exists.  Thanks.

sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
