Description Günter Ohmer 2004-10-15 06:47:46 UTC
my OS. SuSE Linux 9.1, SuSE SLES 8
Since samba-client greater 3.0.2a (SuSE Linux 9.1) or 2.2.5 (SLES 8) I can't mount
a win2003 share:
ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access denied.)

I didn't change neither the smb.conf nore the credential files.

I have a debug file for 2.2.5 the mount works and one
for 2.2.8a the mount fails.

please retest against 3.0.11. However, if this is an smbfs bug,
you are probably dealing with the lack of SMB signing support.
Please note that we don't support smbfs. You'll have to talk
to the kernel fs maintainer regarding any smbfs bugs. Or try the
cifs fs support in the 2.6 linux kernel.
