A Canon Printer at our Place has no Name in Samba, but has one in Cups, as i am a very experienced Linux User, i already tried a lot, for example:

Reset printcap cups file
different cups Settings
rename Printer in Cups interface
delete "samba caches" print spool etc.
try to rename from within Windows
Try to rename Printer with rpcclient utility.
upgrade from Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04

The Strange thing is, only the Printer using the Canon iR-ADV C5250/5255 driver has no Name, while the other HP's have one. The Printcap file looks ok:

# This file was automatically generated by cupsd(8) from the
# /etc/cups/printers.conf file. All changes to this file
# will be lost.

Any advice is welcome.
