Description Alex Stepanov 2004-07-14 05:54:49 UTC
mount -t smbfs \\net_name \mnt\name
At copying a file in volume it is more 2048 MB on a computer with established
system Windows XP with file system NTFS gives out a mistake about a limit on a
file
Comment 1 Volker Lendecke 2004-07-14 07:38:33 UTC
smbfs does not support large files. This is more of a linux kernel issue than a
Samba problem.

Sorry,

Volker

please switch over to cifs, cifs is being actively maintained and bugs get fixed
if you report them.
