hello,

tried mipspro 7.41 and gcc 3.4.1.
-O3 -mips4 and -O3 -mips3.
both the same.
irix 6.5.24.
starting smbd gives core. everytime. all prior versions worked fine.

I imagine this bug can be closed, since 3.0.11 is now shipping.

originally against 3.0.5rc1 (which was 34.0.6rc1 due to the security release).

sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
