Description Igor S 2004-07-09 08:01:58 UTC
I got a large amount of sources to my windows xp machine, shared this folder
and mount it from linux and launch compilation from linux machine. After 2-2.5
hours of compilation gcc exited with error message "cannot allocate memory".
All other linux apps like is exited with the same error message. On windows
machne just before linux apps crashes new apps like outlook were unable to
dispaly they GUI elements like toolbsr's pictures, and etc. It I reboot a linux
machine, this doesn't any effect. If I reboot xp machine, all remainder
compilation was success. I couldn't reproduce this bug on win 2000, it works
fine. I found a lot of information about it inthe internet, here, for example
http://www.k-otik.com/exploits/01.25.winblast.sh.php

sorry. We don't support smbfs. You'll have to talk to
the kernel maintainers for that.
