Description Björn Jacke 2021-02-26 12:22:05 UTC
creating a reverse DNS zone works fine but there are some things work working properly:

There is only one NS record in the newly created zone, which is obviously normal, Windows seems to behave the same way. However if you add another NS record for another DC for example, then the DNS MMC will show "zone not loaded by DNS server" and not show the content.

This could be a Windows problem. Using Win10, I cannot even get the dns mmc to open, it wants the web service that Samba does not have. If I use Win7, the dns mmc opens correctly and the reverse zone shows my two DC's as nameservers.
