Description Pieter 2019-11-14 08:15:30 UTC
Hello,

When I read the release notes for samba 4.11.0 i noticed the following:

"SMB1 is officially deprecated and might be removed step by step
in the following years. If you have a strong requirement for SMB1
(except for supporting old Linux Kernels), please file a bug
at https://bugzilla.samba.org and let us know about the details."

I use an old lasercuttingmachine which is running Windows NT 4.0.
To operate the machine gets its files from a samba server 4.10.10.
I think I need support for SMB1 in the future to keep the machine functioning and samba up to date.

Kind regard,
Pieter
