Description Tomasz Bartusiak 2004-05-29 20:03:19 UTC
I'm using samba UNIX charset UTF-8 and groupnames in Linux are kept in ISO-8859-2.
When calling script where as first parameter is groupname and second username
(/etc/samba/smbtogrpadd.sh '%g' '%u') and groupname contains national
characters, username is passed with extra characters - e.g. should be "user_a"
and is "%uuser_a_tż^\é˙żĂůE@^X<9E>^B". When groupname contains no national
characters everythink is fine. When groupname is a second parameter it's ok too.
I have noticed it from version 3.0.3, in 3.0.2a is correctly.

Is this still the same with 3.0.21a?

ab, I'd mark it as fixed and let the reporter reopen if it
is still reproducible in 3.0.21a
Comment 3 Alexander Bokovoy 2006-01-10 07:43:43 UTC
Marking this as fixed, please reopen again if 3.0.21a has the same problem.
