Description shootingzq 2017-05-31 03:12:03 UTC
i have a macbook running os x 10.12 , and have a centos 7.2 running samba service . the macbook connect samba and use finder open the share directory , when i open the Subdirectories which Contain 2000 files , must be wait for 5 minite to show these files list , it is very slowly .

so i search in net , and find vfs_fruit vfs_streams_xattr , i configed the docx-xml exapmple in smb.conf , show these files list have 10s , but when i delete or over write the file , samba return error , because need get AFPINFO_EA_NETATALK , but i haven't a netatalk service.

i just want to open the Subdirectories is fast , please tell me how config the smb.conf.

thanks.

Try to add "case sensitive = yes" to your smb.conf.
