After the removal of a domain controller, using the command

samba-tool domain demote --remove-other-dead-server=<server>

the A record gc._msdcs.my.domain for the global catalogue is still present.


Workaround: Remove the record manually:

samba-tool dns delete mydc.my.domain _msdcs.my.domain 'gc' A 1.2.3.4
