Description Richard van Denzel 2004-04-08 03:23:21 UTC
I've compiled Samba 3.0.2a on AIX 5.2 ML2 with GCC 3.3.2. I had no error during
compilation or installation.

When I try to start smbd -D or nmbd -D it will just keep on running in the
foreground and when I look at the CPU's it will consume one CPU (of the 4
available).

I've looked with smbd -D -d 9 and there are no errors there.

please test 3.0.11 since there have been several fixes
for AIX since 3.0.2a. Reopen if you still think there
is an open Samba bug.

sorry for the same, cleaning up the database to prevent unecessary reopens of bugs.
