Description Bambang Budiharto 2004-04-06 02:29:06 UTC
When using NT usermanager for domain againts samba 3.0.3pre1, it always give
error "The tag is invalid. Do you want to select another domain to administer ?".
Selecting "slow connection" works, it was able to search and display properties
for samba accounts.

Reverting to 3.0.2x solve this problem.

Env :
Samba 3.0.3pre1 (PDC+BDC) with ldapsam backend.
note: All machine trust account only having NT password and NO Lanman password.

This works in 3.0.11 according to my tests. Marking as fixed.
Resettign version back to 3.0.2a in order to clear out preX and
rcX versions.

I experience this problem with 3.0.10 and have done so from release 3.0.6 on.
Are there any ideas on what the actual problem is (was) or what was done to fix
it I don't see anything in the release notes? I'm running on Debian Woody and
use the backports install of Samba. LDAPSAM backend with SAMBA PDC and BDC all
NT boxes are running as Servers in the domain.
