The last time it worked was with version 3.x

There is no difference between AD or simple samba share.

No reaction until now. So I set Importance to P1, because I need a solution. Because of this bug one of my customers is using Windows.

I need a debug level 10 log showing this, as well as a wireshark trace + your smb.conf. I don't see why this is failing right now.

Jeremy, can you have a look at this? I would really like to see the statx MR get fully in - but if you see problems with the full thing, getting the fix for this bug in would be a start :-)

Sure I can take a look, but you need to work with Ralph on this as he is the person who marked it as "Draft". Having statx would fix the issues with birth  times so it would be good to have it.

Is there a way to just fix the "fake directory create times" problem, and then work on the statx code separately ?
