Description Gediminas 2004-03-28 23:21:40 UTC
When i try to connect to non existing share, which name is one of the directory
names from /var directory, I see its contents.
Example:
From windows xp pro sp1 trying conect to \\server2\backup
Result: i can read listing of files or folder of /var/backup
Same result with other folders pro /var

There is nor shares with /var in smb.conf

This is most likely to due the homedirectory
path for the 'backup' account in /etc/passwd
and an existing [homes] share.

Set "invalid users = backup " in the global
section abd "valid users = %S" in [homes]
to avoid this.
