I installed samba4 following instructions in samba wiki for setting up Active Directory. When connecting Win10 pc, it can't find the msdcs entry in the dns. Searching for same from the terminal using command
host -t SRV  _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.oudomain.intranet.oumu

gives result below:

Host _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.oudomain.intranet.oumu not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

It seems that the msdcs forest zone is not created automatically.

Sorry.  No bug. In fact while joining domain I was using DC.MYDOMAIN when in fact I should use only MYDOMAIN.
Joining domain successful.

msdcs zone is created automatically.
